Set it up once. The Terms, then you are ready
Tap to Pay on iPhone is set up once per phone. Press Set up Tap to Pay, accept Apple's Terms and Conditions when they appear, page through the short guide, and the phone is ready. Every event you run after that can take a tap.
Two things come first. Your payouts have to be connected, because a tap is money that lands in your payout like any other sale. And you need a published event: until you have one, Account Settings says so in place of the button.
The first time an eligible organizer opens My Events, the app offers the setup as a full screen. Dismiss it and it is still in Account Settings whenever you want it.
A second iPhone is set up the same way, on that phone.
