Make an event from a link, or by describing it

Three ways in, and all three land on the same form. Import from a link takes an event page's address, a Facebook or Partiful event or any page with a proper preview, and fills in what the page exposes: name, date, flyer, description, venue. Facebook hides the date and venue behind a login, so from there you usually get the name, the flyer and the description and type the rest.

Describe your event takes a sentence, the kind you would text a friend: "Warehouse party July 3, 9pm–3am, 200 people". It fills the form with the date, times and capacity it understood.

Start from scratch is the empty form.

Nothing exists until you save the form, so check what was filled in before you do. The event is then a draft until you publish it, and tickets are added separately from the event console.
